What a difference an illo makes
In case folks haven't noticed (despite me being a complete bitca lately), I haven't been in the best mood. But do you remember the old perfume commercial, "If someone you've never met suddenly gives you flowers...?"

Well, someone I don't remember meeting sent me an illo for The Penitent, and I'm excessively happy. It's pretty, and totally unsolicited. (It has spoilers, on the off-chance that you happen to be reading the fic at this very instant and haven't been spoiled by other art at the site or me running my mouth.)

It made me very, very happy. Giddy, actually. I'm such an art lady-of-ill-repute. It's sad.

Nah. It's cool.

:p

Ah, that is a nice piece! :) (And does it ever bring back memories... it's been forever since I read The Penitent.) Thanks for posting the link.

It's gorgeous. I'm still waiting to hear back about permission to put in one of those spiffy new comment forms so people can tell him how cool it is.

I should sleep now. 'Night.

I've always found your writing to be terribly pleasant.
