Potterfic Weekly on Shifts, the fourth part
Okay Part Four of PFW's podcast of Shifts is up. There is Mr. Rogers in it. Also Cannonball Run and Bill and Ted, and even a soupçon of Buffy. And how do they get to mpreg again? This and other mysteries are solved.

(I wonder if I should cop to the fact that I originally had Percy and Penelope getting back together after he stopped being a prat...)

I'm sure you can tell us all about Percy if/when we do an author interview. I love surfing for sound effects for these. Just a warning the next one is starting at 4 hours, so it's going to be a monster.

Hi Fernwithy,

Happy New Year! I've noticed that you've been posting about Potter Weekly on Shifts for a while now. What's it about? Are they reading your story like an audio book or is it one long review and discussion of the plot? I still have to get around reading Shifts and maybe this PFW thing will prompt me to get to it!

PFW is a discussion show--they read fics and talk about them. And about everything else under the sun in the process of it. It's kind of like the wilder threads in the comments section of a fic x1000, with Star Trek and muppets and Mr. Rogers thrown in for good measure. Also, chickens. There are a lot of chickens.

It's not a strict and on-topic discussion, just a talk that wanders to wherever it wants to go. Often to very amusing places (hence the appearance of an mpreg discussion in the middle of Shifts, and an extended flashback to a talk about the Yellowstone supervolcano in the middle of a talk about Teddy Lupin and the Forest Guard).

I see! I looked up FG and I'm listening to it right now. You must really enjoy these discussions as the author!
