To the bus stop... AND BEYOND!
Yay, me. I mastered walking with one crutch, decided to try getting to the bus stop (a quarter mile walk with a hill to climb up and down), and got there just fine. As long as I was there, I went an extra half block and did two days shopping at the mini-mart.

Starting to feel normal here. I will stop bleeding my savings into cabs and take the bloody-damned bus and subway now.

BTW, one-crutch walking? Way less energy-intensive than two-crutch walking.

I feel a bit...: accomplished accomplished

Excellent! I'm glad to hear you're getting more mobile. ... Yeah, that's it. I think I need an interesting transplant tonight. ^_^()

That's great! (How'd you get hurt, anyway? Too lazy to read back that far.)

In a moment worthy of Nymphadora Tonks, I managed to break my heel bone and sprain my ankle getting out of bed. Put my foot down wrong, and bam. Good morning!

Yeow! Poor dear.

And who's Nymphadora Tonks?

Ah, not a Potter person! She's a minor character in book 5 of Harry Potter, noted for her ability to morph her appearance and her totally incurable clumsiness.
