Aw yiss action scenes! Very well-paced action scenes at that.

After an incident like that with those parents, I can see how Jason tends to be fairly closed-off and denial-laden about his connection to his father or powers.

I wonder how the well the power of the mists affects perception of something with such great displacement beyond it just looking like a storm. Is the ship and boats subject to that as well?

Jason: This seems like a good idea. *grabs onto tentacle*
*tentacle thrashes*
Jason: This no longer seems like a good idea.
Bobby and Dakota's reactions seal the scene.

Also that's one way to manifest his powers in a way that not even his powers of denial can reject.

Even when Jason loses his memory, he has a feeling that people treated him weird being a son of Jupiter, like his father always standing around behind him saying, "Eat voltage!" (as he puts it when he's in the cabin). So I guess it must have been a pretty common experience.

The mist seems to adjust to whatever is needed by the plot gods at the moment. ;p

Heheh, Jason.
