some things I'm wondering...

Why does the prejudiced-against-Muggles shop proprietor force customers to arrive by non-magical means? Why not put in a Floo?

Why is Ginny's relationship with her brothers slightly different in this AU?

What happened when James opened the door without his wand? Who was there? I thought Voldemort decided to go after Neville in this AU.

Dream with snake is foreshadowing Garden of Hesperides? Looking forward to how this develops...especially because I started reading Rick Riordan because of your comments and the fic you started to write in it:-) That's two books series I've read because of you (HG as well).

Re: some things I'm wondering...

Maybe the Floo network doesn't go to Whitechapel? I don't know.

Ginny.... well, her crush now is on a Harry who's a real person, kind of brash, and maybe that influenced her to be more open about her flying. I mean, if James is doing a youth Quidditch league, she might even be in it. There's also the narrative filter.

I don't know yet what the issue was with James and his wand. It may have been something that happened before that night.

I went looking for garden-related immortality myths, and the Garden of the Hesperides was the only one I found other than Eden. So I popped it in, realizing that I was going right back to the PJO place, but saying, "Eh! So it is."
