I'm wondering - when do you need the extra decimal places for number of syllables?

I was wondering that myself. Glottal stops? Click languages?

*laughs*

Did you see my results yet? I tried running in other names too, just to make sure they didn't keep coming up the same.

weird!

Re: *laughs*

Interesting...I got two diametrically opposite analyses - and my screen-name brought up the correct one! My real name was incredibly off. The thing is, since this came up on Fern's LJ, I immediately thought of Andromeda Tonks being a wispy new ager and saying that we all need to choose our own names...heh :).

(To be strictly accurate; they didn't have a definition for "Sonetka." So the result I got was actually for Sonia, from whence that nickname is derived. Close enough, I hope).

Same thing happened here. Although funnily enough, my real name and screen name both had the same meaning ("light") - just totally opposite analyses. But my screen name, too, was more correct. (I actually checked Elaine, which is the long form of Elsha, the screen name I normally use.)

Re: *laughs*

You've broken the mold then!

I rambled through friends' friends' pages and found two more people whose screen names and RL names brough up identical info.
