Last scenes...
I hate writing endings. How much weight can they take, you know? What if it doesn't hit the right notes? What if...

Ah. What if I get out of my journal and back to work?

At any rate, still typing here, and I have something bubbly to celebrate with, so I'd best finish.

I know the feeling. Just remember... it doesn't need to hit a note. Just write from your heart - and yes, that sounds corny, but it's true. Use a quote, if you want; that's what I did, and a corny but sweet line at the end, and that's all I think I needed.

I say use a quote and a few wrap up words; give us an idea of what happened from the last chapter to then, and a few hints of what could happen. And we will be left with that "it's over..." feeling, and that's what you want, right?

I so know how you feel. I have to rewrite and revise the ending to my own novel-length and I've been making Dolls and playing with my journal instead. I even had the best idea ev0r of how to do the ending and I'm still procrastinating.

Woe.

When you finish, have a glass of that bubbly for me, too, kay?
