Chances are people you don't even know are being introduced to your journal every day, either randomly or through someone else. In addition to recent entries, people can get to know you better by what you posted in the past. With that in mind post a link to your entries on this day three months ago, six months ago, nine months ago, a year ago, and two years ago. If there was no entry on that day, link the closest date.

Three months ago (6/23/05): One of my rare brief entries. I asked about the use of honorifics in Star Wars.

Six months ago (3/23/05): I had three posts--a meme revealing that my hippie name is "Revelation," an observation about a badly designed advertisement, and Marauders of the Round Table, a story about James, Sirius, Remus, Peter, and furniture.

Nine months ago (12/23/04): Another three-post day. I was fretting about several things, including my decision to not have Tonks and Remus sleep together in Shifts and how that would be taken by fic readers. I also went on at length about writing forms that are losing popularity in print but are thriving online, and had a meme of randomly generated haikus.

One year ago (9/23/04: I was on a Star Wars high from getting my new DVDs, and and listed The Top Ten Reasons Hayden Belongs At the End of RotJ.

Two years ago...: My journal didn't start until November '03, but if you want, here are my first entry and a review of Shattered Glass.

I still think you've got inconsistencies with Hayden at the end of VI. Of course, the two things I'd have done was put him in aged makeup for the shot at the end, and possibly also digitize him in for the unmasking scene.

I think he should look older in that shot. Even people in comas continue to age...

Which is to say, he should not, IMHO, look younger than Mark Hamill... :)

from Canopus

laughed at this, from 12/04:

"I still want to do something with Regan Weasley and Mira Lupin (from Life on Mars), but I don't have a story for them. Oh, well. It can wait until after HBP, to see if there's anything left of their world that's unshattered by new canonballs.

"I really am looking forward to HBP. It sounds like I'm dreading it, but I'm not, except inasmuch as I'm always afraid of having the rug pulled out from under me. Quantum Leap did that to me in the last five minutes of the last episode, and I literally screamed out loud--a year's work just completely down the drain!"

So glad in the end that you got a nice shiny canon-approved rug put *under* you, JKR-channelling genious that you are...

new chapter??

~Canopus,
at sea, sometimes, but still sort of following along

Re: Puzzling...

No... the pieces are the wrong shape for the side of the face, and none of them include the background color. They're also the wrong size and the color tones are wrong; none of the shades match. (I spend way too much time at www.jigsaw.com to pull off fake computerized jigsaw puzzles.)
