And one more JKR squee--Rowling doesn't seem to be hung up on "The boys did not call themselves marauders!" In fact, that's what she calls them. I don't know that this is proof that this is what they called themselves or if it means she's picked up a fannish habit, but either way, she doesn't appear to object to the designation, and it's way easier to mentally say than MWPP. (Yes, I hear words in my head when I see them on the screen, and "MWPP" always slows me down to "say" emm-double-u-pee-pee.) So it's marauders for me now, and I'm sticking with it.

I'm watching the Pacific Alliance Championships (gymnastics)--I think there's a lot of work to do from these teams before Greece, or Russia and Romania won't have a lot to worry about. But even so, they seem to be judging a lot harder than they have in the past.

Huh. You know, I meant to do a long entry of some sort, a ficlet or a burning question, but I just have nothing whatsoever in my brain just now.

I figured it was fairly standard, myself. Though "MWPP" comes out for me as a sort of quick "mwip," which would probably not be that easy to pronounce out loud but goes fast enough in my head.

Hmm. Upon trying to pronounce it, it's more like a very short "mwoop." I think I should stop now.

For me, it's 'mwup'. It's the sound of a windscreen wiper coming to a stop.

(JKR.com has evidently fried my brain)
