Oo, fun meme
Another from jiminyc

Anyway, I'll do both of my "home cities":

Every place has its stereotypes, whether they're right or wrong. Name three from your home city, state or country that fit you and three that don't.

I'm from Buffalo!

YES, I do...

1. Believe that you can't get good wings outside of Buffalo. And even there, there's a hierarchy, and if you can go to the Anchor for them, you should.
2. Foolishly hope every year that the Bills will take the Superbowl.
3. Eat beef on weck, whenever I can get it.

But NO, I don't...

1. Know every trick of snow shoveling.
2. Think that "Dogs Playing Poker" is high art.*
3. Have a professional history in manufacturing.

*The stereotype that Buffalo is uncultured about art drives me nuts. There's a froofy little gallery on every other corner, and the Albright-Knox is a damned fine art museum.

I'm from Boston!

YES, I do...

1. Have a degree from a well-respected private college.
2. Belong to the Museum of Fine Arts.
3. Have a decent working knowledge of the American Revolution.

But NO, I don't...

1. Pahk mah cah in Hahvahd Yahd. (There's no parking in the Yard, for one thing...)
2. Espouse loopy left liberal politics on every issue under the sun.
3. Compare all good things to Nomar Garciaparra. In fact, I don't even like the Sox, though I hope they win. Their home games make my commute hellish, so I'm not generously inclined to them.

I just checked out your new website...really hip. How did you do it so quickly? Did you like, follow a book or something? It would probably take me two years put one together.

This one? The LJ? It's all done with the customizing tools on LiveJournal. I just supplied a picture of the leaves. :)

Dig the leaves...too cool. Well, I can't do that either...I'm pretty retarded when it comes to things like technology. What I was asking about, specifically, was your Vader's Mask site...like, did you follow a book on how to do that or did somebody put it together for you?

A lot of the techinical stuff as far as layout is part of the Homestead sitebuilder. I was taking a web design course while I designed it (originally, it was in tables on my aol webspace, but it's much better now). I do the graphics myself, and the stories are uploaded with a style sheet. The design is mine, accomplished with easy tools. :)
