Ugh. Just got back from my 15th college reunion. Except for sjepstein, who I hung out with there, I knew absolutely no one. There are a handful of people in my class that I'd like to see, but I have no idea where they went. I should google them.

Google is good. So is myspace.

Classmates.com and Reunion.com are mainstream sites intended for just that purpose. I've found several people I'd wondered what happened to, but the sites will pester you to join and up your membership level, which is quite annoying. (One of them did a really sneaky thing where they sent out a notice that someone had posted in a certain mailbox and it could only be read by doing a paid membership. I did up my memebership - because we were threatening to have another reunion, we are notoriously lax about regularity, and some of the others said that was where they intended to do most of it - the long and short of all that is that the stupid post was from their founder. I was so angry that I wrote several nasty-grams to them. So be cautious.)

There's always 411 on the internet as well. My aunt found an old friend that way.
