Random HP observation
I'm starting to see my thoughts with HTML tagging folks. It's sad.

Anyway, since Charlie's roughly Tonks's age, I have them in the same Sorting, and I've been thinking more about Charlie than I usually do. What was the major issue with the age? Well, Charlie was supposed to be a really hotshot Seeker, but they hadn't won the Cup in ages. I don't know why this didn't occur to me before--I actually did point out in an argument for younger!Charlie that we knew from the World Cup that having a good Seeker doesn't always mean a team wins--but Irish kids go to Hogwarts, too. Those spectacular Chasers who were so fast the announcer couldn't even say what plays they were making could have been, and mostly likely were at Hogwarts at the same time as Charlie. (Since we're told he "could have played for England" except for his dragon fixation, and Oliver goes straight from Hogwarts to the team, it's a fair guess that Quidditch players are as young as other athletes.) If they were in a different house, that would explain the discrepancy, and why Charlie was the one who pointed out that Krum was "one good player," while the Irish had seven. So that's my observation. Charlie was a wicked good Seeker on a bad Gryffindor team that was playing Moran, Mullet, and Troy.

That happens to me, too.
At this point, I write in HTML more often than using a Word Processor, so find myself starting to put the tags in there, as well...

Yeah, I've thought in HTML. I've also said the word "sigh" instead of actually sighing. Has that ever happened to you? Scary. ;)

I'll say "sigh". It's the weirdest thing. I think it's left over from a Peanuts infatuation as a kid, though.

Good observation, and a good idea. That could explain it all.
