Tee-hee. I'm watching Daniel Radcliffe on Jay Leno. Apparently,… - The Phantom Librarian
Spewing out too many words since November 2003
Tee-hee. I'm watching Daniel Radcliffe on Jay Leno. Apparently, Rupert Grint bought an ice cream van when he turned eighteen, and DR isn't planning anything that exciting. He thinks maybe the cast should all get together and start an ice cream company. I propose the name "Fortescue's"! ;p

Apparently, he doesn't watch this show. He seemed genuinely surprised when the clip monitor popped up behind him, and wanted to play with the controls. Shoot, the clip wasn't anything new, though. The teaser clip seemed to be from the flight out of Little Whinging, with a line from Tonks, but that wasn't what they showed with sound. Oh, well.

I think my favorite moment was when he casually referred to Harry doing the whole Henry V thing, rallying the troops... and I thinking, I don't know any of my teens--many of whom go to a hard-to-enter exam school--who would rattle off a Shakespeare reference apparently without even thinking about it. Dan still looks nothing whatsoever like my mental Harry, but I like him too much to care.

Oh yes, I know what you mean! But then you realise just 'who' he has been working with for these last 6-7 years in terms of the cream of British actors, so it's no wonder that some of it has rubbed off on him, given that he clearly wants to be an actor anyway.

I like him because he is still so utterly natural. More at ease with the interviews, but still just a thoroughly nice young man.

He's so dorkably cute; I love the guy. :) He's come a long way from the terrified tiny boy who had trouble stringing sentences together in front of an interviewer.

Saw the movie tonight, and....sigh. I'll be interested to see what you think. It was stunning, visually. And the kids are SO MUCH BETTER this time--Ron, especially, has finally been written like the books, not as a dimwit. Grint was great. I thought Tonks was promising but we didn't hear much from her. My big gripe, honestly, was the balance of plots--they had to choose what to cut, but I felt that they focused so much on the DA and Umbridge that there was barely any development of the Order plotline. Boo! But man, great to look at.

Ohhh, I would buy ice cream from them. Lots of it. And I don't even eat much ice cream. ;)
