Spewing out too many words since November 2003

Erm, there are actually active links on the great, thudding tracts pages (Jewel of Brandy Hall and Girl Who Aimed Straight) now. I knew I forgot to do something before I uploaded last night. Ooops. Kinda hard to get to the story material if there's nothing taking one there.

The SW fics are going to take forever. And that's without even re-archiving the Vader's Mask ones (I'll just link to them--I'm not going to store them twice in the same server space!). I am, however, going to update the Father's Heart text at Vader's Mask, which I never fixed after my TFN beta-reading, so it's not the "final" text.

I feel bad--there are all kinds of nifty new features in Homestead since I put VM together (or old ones that I finally figured out how to use), and now I can do clever things like putting feedback forms on each page and so on, but I feel like I shouldn't do it, since I didn't do it for VM stories.

Sigh.

...Could you add them to the Vader's Mask ones? Or would that just take too long altogether?

The problem is that I've learned to do the pages as Homestead pages rather than as imported files, which means I can have all the bells and whistles. To do them for VM stories, I'd have to re-create every single story page, and many would have to be put into shorter parts (I discovered yesterday that the "Add HTML snippet" does have its limits)... basically, it would be recreating the vast majority of the site. I could add it to the chaptered stories without much difficulty. (Though the thought of downloading everything I've got at VM is daunting!!!)

I may do it eventually, but that's a project for when I have about two weeks with nothing else to do.
