Another crap writing day. This chapter is wandering all over the place, and doesn't want to go where I meant it to. Oh, well. There should be a relatively early post tomorrow, as I like at least half of what I wrote tonight. Maybe more than half in terms of liking the actual scenes, I just don't think it's contributing much to the story. Also, Ruthless is not ruthless enough to stage a Christmas Eve breakup. It's not going to happen, even if it was in my plan. I guess I'll just have to have someone else break up in a later story instead. ;p

Well, I have to say I'm very glad your plans have changed! Ruthless and Teddy did not deserve to break up so soon - they were just getting started! Sure, it may not have lasted long-term, but the poor boy deserves 'some' time with his first girl, LOL. And Ruthless isn't exactly a model of self-confidence when it comes to boys, despite her outward bravado in many things.

Phew, I'm always glad when bad scenes simply don't let themselves be written. It makes for far more pleasant reading.

Why would Ruthless even break up at this point? Other than enduring the teasing and hostility of the Weasley girls, it's going pretty well.

Whew. Actually, I'm rather glad that Ruthless isn't going to dump Teddy, especially not on Christmas Eve. Holiday break-ups are particularly bad. Given her combative personality, she seems more likely to tough it out with him at this point, if only to give her brothers and the Weasley sisters a figurative thumb in the eye.

I can sympathize with "crap writing days"--there's a long WIP I'm wrapping up and I only got half as far as I intended with the latest installment. I'm going to have to push through it today before Halloween madness descends. Good luck with your own chapter!

Take your time. Drink some tea. Everything becomes clearer after some tea.

Or, perhaps, vodka.

Take a break! Relax! We've all been enjoying this story immensely! You can take a week off to clear your head, and while we'd be sad, we'd appreciate a less stressed Fern. I'm glad that you're enjoying the Sox festivities. :)
