Animal Spirit Guides ~ Which One Calls To You?
brought to you by Quizilla

I think I like the phrases, "Seeing the roads within chaos" and "Understanding the patterns of chaos"--this actually is a pretty good meme. "Moving without fear in the darkness" and "Moving in unknown places" works for me as well. I'll actually turn off streets I know just to find a new route and just kind of follow my nose to wherever it comes out. I get more freaked out on freeways, which are totally anonymous, than on city streets, which I can check now and then.

And my theory on getting around Boston is that if you can keep your head and stay in one direction, sooner or later, you'll hit water, and you can follow it. (This doesn't work so well if you're going south or west in the outskirts, but in the city proper, you can get to the sea or the Charles easily enough to always figure out where you are, if not where you're going.)

My spirit guide is mother owl. That totally makes sense with what I know about my Metis blood, and my storyteller birth mother. Chouette. Very cool. This is one of the more accurate memes I've done. Thanks for posting it. Kelley

I know the woman who runs the animalspirits website, and have been taking the hearing messages lessons for years...

I've definitely learned a lot about myself since discovering animalspirits.

cool that someone made a quiz for it.

Well, I'm glad you said that it's hard to get lost walking in Boston - from my experience a few weeks ago, it's quite another matter as far as driving is concerned. We were looking for an apartment there, and while we did our best to limit our driving to the city outskirts, when we did have to venture into main Boston, we had some ugly, ugly escapades. Those streets can be evil. I have no intention of taking a car into the city ever again if I can help it.

Oh, lord no. Driving is completely screwed up; I wouldn't own a car here if I had a million dollars. Walking, I can take any street I want to. Driving, I'd have to remember what's one way, what turns I can't take (often for no discernable reason at all), where the silly interstate comes in and out, and all kinds of odd and sundry things. Walking, if all else fails, I can take an alley.

Also, to be fair, it's hard to find a new place, even on foot, because the streets are twisty. I gave up on an apartment I just couldn't find the street for, and not long ago took a walk on a street that turned out to have gone in a huge semicircle when I wasn't looking. My point is more along the lines that it's hard for me to get completely twisted up and lose my way home. I have, more than once, just gotten frustrated looking for a place and given up to go somewhere else instead.

On the whole, I find I don't mind getting lost as far as not knowing exactly where I am, because if I can find particularly north or east, I can always find my way to someplace that will lead me somewhere I know.
