Teddy issue
:headdesk:

After three weeks, I finally figured out what my problem is. I was trying to go into a direct follow-up, with Uncle Harry and scenes after the battle and...

That part concluded, man.

It's that simple.

The reason everything I tried kept crashing and burning was that it doesn't belong there. I must be REALLY burned out to have taken that long to notice it.

It's time for the last three Honoria articles, and the rest of the story will resolve itself after. Uncle Harry... doesn't actually need to explain himself all that much.

Okay. It's time to get my head back together. That was WAY too simple to have taken that long to catch on, and I apologize for the delay.

Glad you got it figured out. It's so frustrating when a story doesn't want to cooperate and/or you can't figure out why it's not working like you want. I haven't been able to accomplish much writing this week, and I feel so useless. I'm hoping this creativity slump will end soon.

Sometimes you just have to wait for insight to show itself in a blinding flash of understanding! The Teddy stories are wonderful, and I'm more than willing to wait for new installments. They're worth it =)

Sometimes, the simpler the solution is, the harder it is to see. I've had a few of those "D'oh!" moments myself with my own writing.

Congratulations on getting the block resolved! That kind of frustration is so annoying.

So, this is entirely out of left field, but do you have a copy of that post you made on Inadvertent Critic about differences in Boomer, Generation X and Millennial advertising? Because I'd like to see it again.

Oh, no, sorry--I deleted all of those and I didn't have a backup.

Re: ....

I just got rid of the blog and didn't think of backing it up. It didn't seem to have many readers!

Re: Квартира в Петербурге посуточно в Петербурге

Это совсем не касается ни fanfic ни "Гарри Поттер". Это просто spam.

Love your story, though, Fern!

Re: Квартира в Петербурге посуточно в Петербурге

I assumed as much. Who knows, maybe Harry needs an apartment in St. Petersberg...

All is now considerably better--my apartment is livable! Ah, it would have been nice to have warning so I could say, "Hey, I'll be away for a week.
