Potterfic Weekly on the Forest Guard, Episode 3: Return of the Podcasters
Potterfic Weekly on Teddy Lupin, Part the Third, chapters 11-15, is up and ready to go. I personally greatly enjoy the killer chickens (Tell me, Clarisse, have the mice stopped screaming?), and the lack of hesitation on just who Teddy ought to feed to a Dementor, should he happen to have one handy to study. ;p

PS: Due to reminders here that my LJ format isn't the easiest to follow on archive, I've been updating Teddy Lupin and the Hunter's Moon to make it more like a normal archived fic. I'm trying to fix up the little changes (like who Percy and George are married to, etc) and making the corrections you guys suggested as I go. I'm up through Chapter 13, and I'm trying to get it done in decent time.

Somewhere I commented that Laura Chapman is not listed in Hunter's Moon as a Divination student. Remember to fix that :)

Happy 4th of July!

Good catch! I did forget!

(BTW, our Argentina storytime went smashingly, and there are at least a couple of local preschoolers who want to move into one of the pretty domed buildings on your postcard. ;p)

Tell them to get in line ;) I'd love to live in one myself. I'd turn it into a library and never go out.

I'm glad it went well!

If we asked nicely could you put them up on http://archiveofourown.org/ ?

Yeah, when I finish, I'll do that!

That would be fantastic! I've been hoping you'd put them up on an archive (I know some are up on SQ, but that archive doesn't seem to be accepting new stories any more).

Yeah, I was always a Quiller, and pretty much decided that it would be my official archive place (I over-archived my SW fics, and felt very self-conscious about it), but when it shut down to new fics, I wasn't sure what I should do!

Archive of Our Own seems like a great option. I've got a bunch of my fics on there, and I like how it's a multi-fandom archive, so I can put fics on there no matter what fandom they're for. Supposedly in the future they might add some feature where you can add fanvids as well, which would be cool, since I've got some of those that I made a few years ago. It's not moderated, which is nice for people who write tons of fics (don't have to wait in queues), but I suppose there is the possibility that it could turn into a crap-fest like ff.net. Hopefully not, though. Also, I like the look of it. Nice clean layout. (And you can upload fics under different 'pseuds' if you use different names in different fandoms or whatnot.)

Do you post to Fiction Alley? I'm guessing not because I'm sure I would have checked and seen you on there.

They can be really strict about grammar and spelling, which is great for a reader but a pain for writers who have really long thudding tracts and if there is one mistake repeatedly throughout (even if it is not technically wrong) it would be a ball ache to go through and change them all!
