It's Really...

Good to be able to have, in the back of my mind as I read this, that despite Jack's severe psychological trauma (and Cecelia's lesser one) that they will both go on to get as close to the real "Happy Ending" that a person who is also a Victor can have. Normal and loving relationships with other people.

Until they die brutally in the last Games... Sigh.

We'll only see it in sidelong glances, but yes, they do get to be happy once they recover. Woof is there to look after Cecelia and once she gets married, it's like a little three generation family in Victors' Village. And of course, Jack has Linden, and makes a conscious choice to enjoy his life (possibly after a little intervention about exactly who's responsible for Marconi's death). Plus, he's Jo's mentor, so he's able to save someone.
