Ah, this is great. Laughed so much at the thought of Haymitch and Effie doing role play practice with the kids. I want to see that.

Plutarch really is the best. I adore how Haymitch can't tell if he's ignoring him for the rebellion's sake or just because he's Plutarch.

I liked the conversation with Seeder. Unexpected, but very logical. Why would anyone automatically trust Katniss? Especially given that if it was anyone stronger than her, she would be thinking about how to kill them in their sleep, like she does with Finnick! (Not that I can actually imagine her doing it, especially not this early in the series.) Kind of odd to think that actually Peeta is going to basically turn on his alliance, although I guess not in a "stab them in the back" way, so it's nothing like that betrayal in The Hanging Tree.

I guarantee Haymitch is as bad at role-playing as Katniss is. :D

I love Plutarch in the weirdest way.

I figured there had to be some reason that Katniss was never asked for an alliance with Rue (other than "formal alliances weren't invented by the author yet" ;p).
