I so enjoy seeing things from the other side--especially the way Peeta's playing his side of this game. I always wondered if Peeta understood, even subconsciously, the after-Games things Snow and his cronies played on Finnick--and he angled his strategy to protect Katniss after the Games, too?

Thank you for the wonderful dream with Maysilee--the way Haymitch's dreams work is so different from the way Teddy's worked, and yet the nonsensical reasoning underlying them is so on-spot. I consider it one of the touchstones of your style--so I hope your original works include dream sequences!

I'd love to do a dream-based sort of thing, though, much to my disappointment, you need a "real world" before the dreams become significant. Phooey. ;p But yes, it's definitely something I'd like to incorporate.

I'm not sure how much Peeta might have suspected. We know how it gets presented -- if he did suspect, then it would indicate that he had knowledge other than what's in the media about the victors. (Not necessarily my theory of Haymitch being a part of the Mellark family lore, but some knowledge, added to his own good intuition.)
