I always love your descriptions of Brutus being "wounded" or "offended" or what have you at the idea of someone messing with his Games.

And, well, everything else. It's somehow still a nail-biter even though I know what's going to happen, and Haymitch is such a great vehicle for being *in* the story while also *analyzing* the story.

Haymitch is like that in canon, which is one of the things I found interesting about him. He certainly is working the hell out of the love story... but he appears to also completely believe the love story (albeit in a more complex way than the Capitol does). He gets that Katniss actually does love Peeta, and he also gets that she needs to make a show of it.
