House of Cards re-write
I'm not making really significant changes to this one, or posting it a chapter at a time, because I haven't added so much to Caesar or Peeta that I feel like the story as it exists doesn't reflect the whole characters anymore. But if you happen to think of any continuity problems from House of Cards that really need to be fixed, please let me know here.

Not for house of cards, but I'm rereading the Hanging Tree on AO3. Noticed in chapter 26 you have info about the tribute Nemiah in 2 different years,.
“I visit my sponsors (this year, very excited about Nemiah), and I go to the library. I see Plutarch.” But you've already had him killed and a different set of tributes named for the following year.
Just in case you'll be doing that one in the future

They were still excited about last year's tribute doing so well (even though he lost) so they're excited to sponsor the next year. Even though it doesn't make sense, since it's entirely different tributes.

I've just been re-reading House of Cards and there was a couple of small things: As another person already pointed out in chapter 1 where he's thinking about what happened in the breakout the fact that Haymitch was there would probably be notable even in the confusion. Also, in chapter 7 you have Johanna saying that Snow killed her family but in These Are The Names you mention that they were killed by a Wildfire the fall before her games.

 Yes, the Jo thing would be fairly big, wouldn't it?

Sorry it took me so long to reply to this *facepalm*. The one big thing I noticed--though I'm sure there're more; watching Peeta break is something I have to be in a very particular mood for, and you do it so fabulously that HOC is the fic of yours I can't really reread regularly--is the whole Marty/Peri thing as described by Caesar. He says that they were killed because they eloped etc. etc., whereas in the canon as it evolved, it seems like their story changed quite a bit and it was their rebellion that got them killed. Which leads me to wonder: Much of the initial thing about their eloping being so wrong was that she was a "hidden District citizen" in a round-about way. So does the cat and mouse with Caesar and Snow now revolve more around "hiding" that Prisca has less than noble origins rather than those origins themselves? Because as things evolved, rather than getting rid of Peri for her status, everything was fine until she seemed to be--and maybe in Snow's warped brain encouraging Marty--sympathizing with the Districts. Am just wondering how much that'll change their dynamic?

That's a good point.

I think, in the end, that the disappearance had more to do with Martius being in on one of the rebellions. I'll have to think of another reason that they wouldn't publicize Peri being Caesar's daughter.
