Unenviable position for Neville. As canon shows, Neville is right in that people really do overlook him. And in this case, all they care about is about the fact that the Boy Lived instead of the Boy himself.

That's a nice additional change pushed through to give Muggleborns orientation. It seems cruel to toss them into the deep end without prior exposure, and I can just imagine the sort of trauma incidents give to Muggle families without prior warning. Of course, considering the general way the community views Muggles at this time...

Heheheh. Kind of like the view of the world from 9th Avenue?

I figured that it would be fun to have the Marauders have an actual impact -- hence, them getting Remus openly on staff, and Remus having a thought for the Muggleborns.
