Okay. Back to fic. Fic is good. And I work later tomorrow, so I don't have to go to bed and pretend to sleep yet.

The moon is full, and Remus is out of commission. Dora was called to the birthing party of her friend Maddie, who delivered a boy named Francis. Andromeda was the Healer in attendance. Sirius has been pouting around the house, and Phineas Nigellus called him on it, pointing out that he's destroyed everything in the house that might have kept him company when he's alone. And Edward Holmes, the werewolf from St. Mungo's, had a fairly large pre-transformation freak-out. Continuing the interlude...

I wrote Making the Crossing, for Dumbledore's Grid, in a quite a hurry. I'd like to get about the business of getting it cleaned up and maybe in shape to submit to a respectable archive, as I sort of like Rebecca and her father. Since this was almost stream-of-consciousness writing, I have a feeling it's missing pieces, and can be shored up and expanded a bit if necessary (though not until after I'm finished with Shifts). Brit-picking would be great since we do get a bit of a cab ride through Muggle London. Boston-picking from other locals also welcome; I don't pretend to know this city inside out!
