Illustmaker me

(no subject)

I have such poor time management skills. I had days and days off (kept putting off my vacation days to try and not be inconvenient to anyone, which meant they were all backed up), and each day, I said, "I'm going to catch up on the housework, or at least get things in order." And every day, I ended up doing other stuff... or doing nothing whatsoever.

So I went back to work. And came home and cleaned.

I couldn't have cleaned when it wasn't taking up my spare time?

Sigh. At least I am now surrounded by a sort of grown-up person's environment, instead of a re-creation of my teenage bedroom. Tomorrow after work, the kitchen. And somewhere between work and the holiday, I'll probably hit the dining room. Because really, that's the most logical way to allot my housekeeping time.

I envy people who have their housekeeping act together. I can make all the schedules I want, but it just never seems to work. I just need to become extremely wealthy and hire someone to do it, I think.

Fic: A Grimmauld Christmas

The Quill has started up its Christmas drabble thread, probably a little early, but people are excited by visions of Yule Balls dancing in their heads, I think. ;)

Anyway, two years ago, I wrote a vignette about little Andromeda and even littler Sirius, in which they take a walk outside of Grimmauld Place, and I figured I'd pick up, say, ten years later, when Andromeda is eighteen or nineteen and newly married.
