Developing some weird and selective middle-aged blindness
Well, I was going to do fanfic100 with Regulus and Sirius, and I looked at the big grid for like ten minutes and didn't see them. But it appears they were there. I just apparently glazed over it several times. I have no idea whether the person is doing them as brothers or as slash (I'm always a little afraid to click on stories about brothers, because incest is a big squick of mine and I'd just basically like to avoid it, and unfortunately, I have a feeling that many times I could click over, that's what I'd get), but apparently it doesn't matter. Everyone else I like is already taken, so I guess I'll just skip it. And consider getting new glasses when I finish pouting. :p
I finished printing Shifts last night, reading on and off as I went because of my slow printer. It's been awhile since I read parts of it. I'm actually kind of pleased with Tonks in it--I'd forgotten how insecure she was at the beginning of the relationship, and her little "not-cheerful Dora" scene where for some reason I decided she was deliberately choosing to be cheerful most of the time because she didn't like not-cheerful Dora and would forcibly shake off anything resembling a bad mood. It ends up working pretty well with what happened in HBP, I think. (I like noticing things like that in stories of mine that I haven't read for awhile. When I read "Your Very Own Dora" at The Witching Hour, I noticed that I had ickle!Dora doing just fine with most of the nasty upsets in her life, but when her Mr. Lupin said he was leaving, she totally freaked. I didn't intend it to mean that she would always consider him her last bulwark of stability or whatnot, but, hey--it ended up working better after HBP than it did before it!)
