Illustmaker me

(no subject)

Eep. I'm working on filling almost three months of Teddy's year, and I have no good events! I go to work late tomorrow, so I'll be up writing late, but it may be VERY late.

I know the ending, but all I need to set up for it is choreographing the cast of characters into their places for the closing number, and that's... not that much, since in normal Potter fashion, it appears from nowhere. I think what I mostly need to account for is why the heck Greyback is holding back until then. And give Mathilde an appearance, maybe? Hmmm.

Teddy Lupin and the Hunter's Moon, Chapter 20: The Clabberts' Alarm, pt. 1

In the process of trying and failing to get the blood stain out of the floor of the Shrieking Shack, Teddy and Harry get into a fight--probably aided by some leftover venom from Nagini--in which Teddy accuses Harry of being more loyal to Snape than to his (Teddy's) parents, who were dying while Harry was eavesdropping on Snape. Harry is not thrilled with this. Teddy starts to stalk off, going back down the tunnel toward school, then Harry realizes that he has a venom impregnated splinter in a cut on his hand which might be a contributing factor. They hash it out (sort of), but Teddy's still not thrilled. They do agree that it will be a clean slate the next time they see each other, and Teddy resolves to just yank out those floorboards entirely and replace them.
