Writing frustrations
Ugh. I hate middles. I'm so tangled up. Even I'm bored with my subplots, and nothing's coming together. My brain's going in a hundred different directions, none of which are maneuvering Tonks into anything resembling a non-Remus-related plot. I am eventually going to tie her up with the Greyback stuff--much to Remus's annoyance--but I've got a bit before that happens, and...

Oh, grr.

There's stuff I want to do, and have to figure out how to do, but it all seems random and disconnected.

Middles. Blah.

Sending you a bit of support! :)

This is my first time leaving you a comment, but I've been following Shades since the beginning, since I enjoyed Shifts so much! You are an excellent writer!

I look for Shades updates on your site very frequently, and each time I see one, I get excited! Even though writer's block is very frustrating, keep up the great work! (I'm sure you will.) I can't wait for an update!

I get it. I'm outlining my next story and I've already written rough drafts of the beginning and the end. I know what's supposed to happen in the middle, but I just can't figure out how to connect it properly.

Of course, my stuff is mere fluff -- but still, I've got to get a handle on the middle. I'm sure you'll figure it out soon.

and htisis the dangerous part where fics either get the certainty of being legible for tying the whle thing up in 25 chapters...or being for ever doomed to 'go with the flow' and turn into 46 54...i have seen some with 72 or 100 chapters (and those were schnoogle-sized ones too...)
I see you posted a snippet after this but still, good luck.
