Oops.... - The Phantom Librarian
Spewing out too many words since November 2003
I think I threw out three pages of the Neville Sorting chapter. (Well, the Hogwarts Express section of that year, anyway.) Oh, well. I still know what I meant to do. I'll start it again.

Dontcha just hate it when that happens? I'm sure, since they're gone, that they're the most brilliant things I've ever written.

Anyway, I'm going to do a "Shifts" section later tonight instead, and re-write the Neville section tomorrow. Since I'm sure you were all wondering. On the docket at present are Shifts, Of A Sort, Registry (the Remus-Tonks story in which she learns he's a werewolf, which I've written the middle of here), the Cedric-Tonks story that I can't seem to get anywhere on, and two originals. No wonder I never finish anything.

No wonder I never finish anything.

You??? Never finish anything?! For goodness sake, you're one of the most prolific fanfic authors I know!

Just to demonstrate, if I type "FernWithy" into the author search in SOTJ's new library that I'm setting up, I can't even get a proper list because it finds more than 50 items and just gives me an error message. Now, that's probably counting each chapter of a fic separately, and your name is on every chapter of The Penitent, but that's NOT yet including the Exercise entries you did on that site (because I haven't gotten those archived yet) and even thinking chapter by chapter, that's a LOT. And I KNOW that not even half of your Star Wars fics are archived there, and that's not including your LOTR and Harry Potter pieces!!!

Cut yourself a little slack! :~P

If you want to see someone who never finishes anything, you should compare my "working on" list to the 3 finished fics I have, the longest of which is only 10 pages.

Honestly, "never finish anything"... if that isn't a blatant "pat me on the back", I don't know what is. ;~) So here. You're a wonderful author and we all love you very much. *pats FernWithy on the back* Feel better?

Much, thank you.

Though I do feel like I'm not finishing much lately. Too many things sitting around unfinished. Especially the originals. :sniff:
